Until the 16th of April at Aggelon Vima venue in Athens is performed “Brokenville” of Philip Ridley. This play narrates about a city demolished by disaster, where a group of individuals gather round a sleeping child. All of them suffer from amnesia and have forgotten who they are, where they are and what has happened before. They begin the arduous process of piecing together their lives through stories, trying to recover - if its possible - their memory. The stories express the indescribable. In the main, there is joy. Joy in the way storytelling changes them all. The characters make journeys from seclusion to community, from apathy to empathy.
